For a guide on how to take care of your Eterna pieces see Eternally Preserved
At Eterna By Design, every piece is created with longevity, intention, and everyday wear in mind. Our materials are carefully selected to balance refined design with durability, allowing each piece to become a lasting part of your daily uniform.
Our Materials
316L Stainless Steel
All Eterna By Design jewellery is crafted from 316L stainless steel, a premium-grade material chosen for its strength, resilience, and suitability for everyday wear. Known for its resistance to corrosion and tarnishing, 316L stainless steel provides a dependable foundation that maintains its integrity over time.
It is also hypoallergenic, making it suitable for sensitive skin (including those prone to reactions) and comfortable for long-term wear.
18K Gold Plating
Our gold pieces are finished with 18K gold plating, applied over the 316L stainless steel base. This combination allows us to achieve a rich, warm gold tone while maintaining the strength and wearability of the underlying material.
The plating is designed to withstand regular use, offering a considered balance between appearance and practical durability.
Silver & Dual-Tone Finishes
Anis, Eden, Oona and Maris from our Timeless collection are available in silver-tone finishes, and Anis is offered in a dual-tone variation, combining 18K gold plating with polished 316L stainless steel for a clean, understated aesthetic and lasting wear.
Designed for Everyday Wear
Eterna By Design jewellery is created to be worn often, while it’s a cherished treasure, we believe that life is the occasion. Each piece is designed with comfort, balance, and longevity in mind, allowing it to integrate effortlessly into daily life.
While our materials are chosen for durability, thoughtful care will help preserve the finish and appearance of your jewellery over time.

To maintain the beauty of your Eterna By Design pieces, we recommend the following:
-
Avoid prolonged contact with harsh chemicals, including cleaning products, perfumes, and lotions
-
Remove jewellery before swimming in chlorinated or salt water
-
Gently clean with a soft, dry cloth after wear
-
Store pieces individually in a dry place when not in use
These simple steps will help preserve the finish and ensure your jewellery remains a lasting part of your collection.
A Considered Approach
Our philosophy is rooted in creating jewellery that endures — pieces designed with intention, made from lasting materials, and intended to be worn repeatedly over time. By choosing durable foundations and timeless design, we aim to reduce unnecessary replacement and encourage a more thoughtful relationship with what you wear.
